Silly Things
Today I was still super sick, yet did my friend's makeup for her prom (she looked great) and worked from 5-10:30 at the coffeehouse with Barrett. Barrett, while not sick, was in a funk, so I had to cheer him up. I had some bitchass people to deal with, both customers and workers in the same area, though not the same business. I finally got time to go grab dinner, get it, get back, and as soon as I walk in we get flooded with customers. So of course I put down my food to help Barrett, and 45 minutes, we finally have time to breathe. I grabbed my food and sat at one of the small tables outside to eat, with Barrett's full permission and encouragement. I get out there and this guy Harry, whom I'll refer to as the Oracle for sundry reasons, starts talking to me. He talks a lot, and was talking about things you can't just leave without it being extremely awkward forever. So I get up (mind you, the entire time I've been right in front of the store, noting how many customers B had so I could go in if he needed help, and I also watched to see if he was throwing looks my way----not a single one) and go inside finally. I walk in, and Barrett immediately starts getting really ugly with me. We'll leave it at that. So we close, Mom picks me up. It's pouring really heavily. On the way home, I'm talking to Mom, and at one point I touched my eye....and immediately it started swelling. I have no idea what I had on my hand (funny, b/c I'd just been washing dishes and stuff; it should be clean), but apparently I'm quite allergic to it. It's very itchy and hella swollen now. I'm all stopped up, I still feel like shitttttt....and I open in the morning. OH, glory hallelujah. And my computer is being hella goofy. Ohh, things that cheer me up: Elliott (who's at work) and online quizzes (always there for me).
